Who am I

My experience

I am a Malaysia based fashion designer. To me, cultural traditions help reinforce and maintain what it means to be a Malaysian.

It has a deep and lasting impact on how I design, became my temptation of designing. I am also inspired by a return to my origins, in my case it translated into nature. I understand that nature gives us not only beauty, sources but also recreation. My stories disclose my goals and aspirations, fears, identity and self-worth, the roles I choose to play in life, the way I handle adversity and the values and beliefs that I hold dear. Like descendants of immigrants everywhere, I am the plant of the land, turning into cultural hybrids —sprouting and flourishing with textures and colors unique to the Malaysian ecology.
